All players from 4 years to Baywide Youth will receive a playing top to use. This is to be returned at the end of the season. The player is responsible to purchase club shorts and socks.

With Soccer Shop being shut we have moved to Legend sportswear. We will be running a club store every saturday from Gordon Spratt Reserve during the season (subject to stock availability).

Bay of Plenty Regional 12th Grade (Boys Born 2010 & Girls 2009/2010)

Papamoa FC is continuing to move towards building its football foundations in the federation space to support the 2022 Bay of Plenty Regional 12th Grade football league.  This is an entry level competition to the highest graded division in the Bay of Plenty region for boys and girls who aspire to playing competitive football in the Bay.

The focus of the BoP Regional team is on players who want to be in a developmental environment aspiring to continue their footballing pathway through the Federation Leagues.  Papamoa FC are one of only two clubs in the Bay of Plenty region that are approved to deliver the successful NZF Skill Centre Programme, helping our young players through their football journey and we will be delivering these programmes at a price point affordable for everyone. 

With the recent reaccreditation of the NZF Quality Club mark, Papamoa FC are now in extremely strong place to be able to deliver programmes of this calibre which will develop our young players to have the opportunity to grow in the game through to senior football.

Open Training Sessions

We have re-arranged the pre-season open training session to one session only for Wednesday 30th March @ 5pm on Gordon Spratt Reserve.  This is for players that want to be considered for the Regional 12th Grade team and you can register your expressions of interest below to attend.  Training sessions will be conducted over two days on a revised day to be conformed in due course.

Season Training and Game Days

Players registered for the BoP Regional 12th Grade team will attend two training sessions a week, which includes a session with our NZF licensed SKC (Skills Centre) coaches on Mondays and a mid week training session with their assigned coach with games played on Saturdays. 

In addition to the usual season fixtures, the team will have the opportunity to play in two football festivals, which include teams from the Waikato during the season.  Also it entitles entry to one of the largest junior tournament weekends in NZ, the Weir Rose Bowl, which is open to all clubs across the country to enter.  But most importantly, a chance to enter our associated partner club, the Gold Coast Knights Premier Juniors Tournament in Australia, which has circa. 300 teams enter each year.  These are amazing competitions for our young players to be involved in.

Registration Information

All players will be expected to register as per normal with the club, which will incur a normal season cost of $155.

Once team selection is complete we will invoice a further $300 per player for those selected in to the BoP Regional team.  This is to cover the additional costs that Federation football incurs.  Specifically this includes the additional training session with qualified coaches, registration fees to WaiBOP & NZ Football, Referee appointments and additional equipment that is required throughout the season. 

Please note, under NZ Govt rules and NZ Football requirements, children who are aged 12 years and 3 months or older must be vaccinated to participate.  My Vaccine Pass verification will be required to be loaded at time of initial registration.

Equipment

To participate in the BoP Regional league, all players must have the following playing gear, which is compulsory. 

  • Plastic moulded boots (no metal sprigs) or sandshoes
  • Shin Pads
  • Club socks and shorts

Club socks & shorts can be purchased from the club and will be available soon.  The club will provide a playing shirt at the first session and is to be worn on game days only and must be returned to the club at the end of the season.
